Site Manager
ASW Property Services is experiencing continued growth and is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee our larger projects. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager role within the construction industry, demonstrating strong leadership skills and a commitment to quality and safety.
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating various trades, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards, and managing materials and labor to meet project specifications. You will also be tasked with overseeing health and safety compliance and maintaining effective communication with clients to ensure their satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily construction activities on-site to ensure smooth operations.
- Organise and order labour and materials in advance to meet project timelines and objectives.
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Oversee site safety, inductions, RAMS and toolbox talks
- Drive a positive, safe and productive site culture
- Verify that all materials and workmanship adhere to project specifications and industry standards.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and programs as necessary.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment for all team members.
- Provide regular reports on project status, issues, and delays to management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience in construction supervision.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- The ability to read and interpret client requirements and specifications effectively.
- Leadership skills and the capability to manage a team efficiently.
- Superior trade knowledge and workmanship.
- Experience in reactive, planned, and void maintenance.
- A positive attitude toward work and problem-solving.
- Punctuality and reliability.
- The ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT, including the use of handheld devices or laptops.

- SMSTS – essential
- First Aid – essential
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor – desirable
- Scaffold Inspection – desirable
- Asbestos Awareness – desirable
