Job Title: Health & Safety Team Administrator

Location: Pyle, Bridgend

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: £21,000.00

ASW is seeking a highly dedicated Health & Safety Team Administrator to support the SHEQ Officer in administering and maintaining Health and Safety standards and procedures within the company.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the SHEQ Officer in maintaining an effective Health and Safety management system within ASW.
  • Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of ASW’s Health and Safety policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Assist in the administration of Supplier PQQ’s, risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Health and Safety training programs for employees.
  • Assist with incident investigations, including recording and reporting accidents, near misses, and potential incidents.
  • Maintain accurate Health and Safety records, documentation, and databases.
  • Organise and maintain safety-related documentation, such as equipment inspections, permits, licenses, and certifications.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Analyse Health and Safety trends and statistics and provide periodic reports to management.
  • Assist with monthly Vendor performance reports.

 

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in working in a Health and Safety administrative role or within a the construction industry desired.
  • Basic understanding of Health and Safety regulations and best practices favourable.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision with data entry and record-keeping.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
