Background

NPT Homes has more than 9000 properties spread throughout Neath Port Talbot with properties along the coastal plain and in all five valleys in the Borough, The Upper Swansea Valley, Amman Valley, Vale of Neath, Dulais Valley and The Afan Valley.

Project Details

ASW is currently carrying out Void Works for NPT Homes and also carried out WHQS upgrade works to kitchens and bathrooms in these voids where required. Currently we have 4 directly employed void teams dedicated to NPT Homes to carry out this work plus a decorating team.

This contract has enabled ASW to create six new trade operative jobs, six new administration role via the Workways project and also to provide four Cyfle shared apprenticeship placements.

We have developed a strong relationship with this client at both operational and management levels. We are working with the client to introduce best practice methodology to assist with improvements in the void process aimed at reducing void turnaround times and also to ensure that the ‘void standard’ meets the needs and aspirations of the new tenant.
